Joe Biden, in his interview with Katie Couric, said that when the great stock market crash happened in 1929, President Roosevelt appeared on television to reassue the American people.

Well, Joe, that was a big whopper! Strike One- Herbert Hoover was the US President in 1929. Strike 2- FDR was not elected until 1932. Strike 3- FDR was the first Presdient to appear on TV, but it wasn't until 1939, some 10 years after the stock market crash of 1929. The scene was the World's Fair in 1939 in New York. Joe Biden, you are outta here! Joe "Big Gaffe" Biden keeps trying to rewrite the history books. The guy is a walking nutcase. Does Joe Biden not remember those fireside chats from FDR? Biden thinks FDR was President in 1929...and talked to Americans on the TV in 1929? Well Im pretty young but Im guess you dont remember everything so clearly...Nothing wrong with Biden, thats why you dont see a million threads on here about him unless its irrelevant one like this..worst anyone can come up with is hair plugs...he misspoke, I can post million threads where Mccain or Bush said idiotic things..but I dont, no reason to...unless its something he defends to the bitter afterwards its no lie
